Been for a blood test this morning At treatment room as I am under you g treatment for other conditions I asked if she thought this was necessary she said I dnt know I am just taking blood so I said well let's assume they know what they are doing here I know my bloods sent gonna b right but that's me not a nurse Took my bloods didn't tell me what it was she was actually taken it for then asked me if I were diabetic so is that what the bloods are for just very rude in my opinion xlc9

Disgusting treatment from this surgery the reception staff are lazy and very rude. I needed to see Dr gill before Christmas and had telephoned and arranged an appointment for after work ( 5pm ) I turned up on time with my wife and got booked in. An hour later I am still sat waiting patiently to which the stupid imbecile receptionist asked us both " are we waiting for something " despite the fact she had booked us in on our arrival to which I very angrily barked " yes my appointment which should have been an hour ago ". Dr gill was soon notified who looked disgruntled as he was about to leave for the evening. Dr gill then proceeded to not listen or even be concerned about my visitation. I left feeling totally disheartened and still in need of medical attention. I would strongly recommend that if you require a doctor then look elsewhere.

Very impolite and improfessional administration, doctors also does not seem to care about patients too much. I was registered with this health center for about 8 months and all my experience is only bad. First of all, they have very irrational system that you can book an appointment only the same day you want to attend - and you have about 1 hour to do it, because later there will be no appointments available. I cannot understand the logic of such system - just imagine: you are ill and you need a doctor. You call in the morning, wait in a queue for 10-20 minutes and when they pick up the phone you hear that you missed your chance and you need to call the next day. The next day - the same story over and over again. It's good if you have days off your work, but if you have health issues and want visit your gp its very very difficult to have an appointment at off work hours. The worst thing which happened to me with this appointment system was in November 2017, when I got a terrible sore throat in just 2 days. It was so bad that I could not swallow anything, even water and I could not sleep because of pain. I understood I need antibiotics and only via GP I can get them. So I was calling this health center for about 3 days in a row, all the time rude administrators said they are fully booked and it seemed they just left me to die. The last day I was really angry, I started calling from 7:59 (they open at 8:00, so I wanted to be the first in a queue) and until 8:10 they just kept throwing the phone down (on purpose!). Then I jumped into my car, went to the center to ask what is wrong (it was about 8:20-25) and they said the same message "sorry, we are fully booked". The next day I was feeling so bad I went to the hospital and they said my condition is really bad - I stayed at the hospital that night and they wanted to operate my sore throat but antibiotics have worked over the night so they decided to keep me away from curgical intervention. So much fuss, so much pain and inconvenience because of this poor service..If I would got antibiotics on time I would not needed to go through all this and stay 2 weeks off work.. after this I changed my GP immediately. Now when I visit my GP I see that reception is always working (in roman road health center they are always drinking tea or chatting, haven't seen the administration working although visited the center about 8 times). I can book appointment even 2 weeks in advance and they are always polite with me. I do not understand why I stayed with Roman Road Health Center so long...

I am sorry, I didn't realise the receptionists were also Dr's and could diagnose and tell you if you need an appointment our not.
