Lovely place to walk the beagle with the benefit of hot food trailer for a coffee, cone of chips and a couple of sausages for beagle after.

Was a big fan of the park.BUT now charge for the parking.Well done BwD council!!!No better way to discourage families from visiting. Its been along time I've seen the park so empty.Maybe you can also start encouraging cars to park on footpaths so you can stop parents from taking kids out .
I believe this area is greatly suited for the majority of people, covering a diverse range of groups and individuals who are looking for a simple day out. There are several play areas for children; two for younger children which have been more padded out and are much safer, one which is much more expansive and designed for children up to young teens. The park itself is composed of great fields of grass which are ideal for picnics and resting in during the sunnier summer months. There is also a caf near the children's parks which has a basic menu for buying simple food and although expensive is rather standard for what you'd expect in a park like this.
