Very disappointed that you cannot use both pools when you go for the family Sunday swim! A family with children that mixed ages do not bother going! You will have to send the oldest children on there own in the big pool as they are not allowed in the small pool and the small children are not aloud in the big pool. Absolutely disgraceful! According to staff "it is the only way it works" Not only is this dangerous but you are also putting the children at risk in a building full of strangers!
A great leisure centre. Fantastic range of things to do. Clean, friendly and affordable. Free parking. Friendly community of people, respectful of each other and polite. Staff are great. Fitness instructors are helpful, knowledgeable and approachable.
The gym and the app are amazing and easy to use. It's great because I go to blackburn college so it's easy for me to use. Staff are kind and helpful, and the gym provides 3 hours free parking.

I use the baby pool and I have to say my grand daughter loves it. Its separate to the main pool which makes the pool temperature really warm. There is also an additional play area where the water is shallow so that babies can sit or crawl in. It has a double slide with loads of bubbles and sprays etc. They provide armbands and toy floats. It's amazing. It was 4.95 but was told to apply for a leisure card online which I did and now only pay 2. Highly recommended, value for money for hours of fun with your young child.
