Excellent food and service although alittle slow. Lovely restaurant and staff. Would definitely go again.
Lovely ambience, log fire, relaxation with excellent food and friendly, efficient service. We could have stayed for hours. I cannot think of a better way to spend a wet January afternoon.
Always excellent, the Sunday roast was totally delicious and I didn't think it could be topped. But it could - the pecan pie and gingerbread ice cream was just to die for. Awesome.
Lovely overnight stay in this coaching inn. Comfortable bed and pleasant room. This was complemented by a delicious breakfast and friendly and helpful staff.
I stayed at The Millstone from Oct 12-14 2018 as a party of twelve and I'm writing this review as a way of saying a big thank you to all the staff for making our weekend very enjoyable.What a lovely place! The Millstone has a warm, welcoming atmosphere. It is very clean and the rooms are very comfortable with everything you need, including fresh milk and homemade biscuits.The staff were great! Very friendly, pleasant and so professional from dealing with the booking to serving us with meals and drinks. They worked so hard to make us feel welcome and comfortable.The food was excellent. There was a good choice and everyone enjoyed their meals.We had an excellent weekend and, consequently, I would definitely recommend The Millstone to friends and family. We look forward to staying there again in the future.
