Lovely nights sleep, and my partner enjoyed the omelette at breakfast
I stayed at the Hill View Hotel, after being advised by my colleagues to do so. After booking a room at the hotel, i read some comments which had got me worried. On arrival at the hotel all my doubts were put to rest as i entered the reception to be greeted by Mo, a very helpful young chap who was always there to help. He explained why they received negative reviews and the answer was shocking. After that he gave me a free upgraded! From a standard single room for 30 to a double ensuite room for 55 (room 15). The room was a good sized room, with a very comfortable bed. The room was very clean and the shower was very powerful and was nice and hot, just what is needed in this weather. The breakfast was filling and tasty, portion sizes were great. Id like to thank all the staff at the Hill View Hotel for making my stay amazing, the staff always went an extra mile to be helpful. Also when ever me and my colleagues are in town we will for sure be returning here! Would advise anyone to book here as its clean modern and affordable!
Absolutely shocking was ment to stay for 10 days couldn't even stay that long horrible leaking bathroom smells of damp soon as I got into the room was never fixed I asked about it they dint look bothered as I'd already paid up frunt 550 pounds for 10 days absolutely horrendous, if I'd have seen the room first there's no way I would have handed over 550?pounds never ever stay again not even for nothing never offered me money back or anything bad run buissness
Stayed here last night and wasn't value for money at all ! Close to blackburn also fairly clean but nothing like it is on the photos , staff wasn't rude but also wasn't welcoming or friendly , the sink was rickety , bathroom was lovely but also it was way too cold to get a shower by the time I go there ( around 8 ish ) , Breakfast was also was okay there was not a lot of choice at all but what severed was okay and the shower was terrible lastly the wordorbe in my room was barely standing and when I told the man he just said it was fine
Car park not easily obvious to find, but decent once we found it! The hotel building itself could do with a bit of a fix up, bit inside we were pleasantly surprised. Nice decor, decent sized rooms and not as "tired" looking as we'd expected. Ultimately, for the price, a decent place to stay. Staff knocking on the door in the morning twice was a bit annoying - asking when we were leaving. But meh.
