Quite a good selection off fish.and various other animals
Just went in to have a look at toys for my parakeet. They had 4 older looking parakeets in a cage with one toy and were frightened when I approached the cage. They've clearly had no human interaction, and have got nothing to interact with in the cage that is too small for them. They had another two birds in a cage above which looked in distress too. Both cages were dirty and needed cleaning, i didnt see adequat food or water either. If I had enough room I'd take them all!The whole store has a strong smell of un-cleanliness. I had to leave after seeing the birds in that condition, I won't return.
Came to the store a few weeks back and the staff there were very friendly and welcoming. They have a varied selection of fish both cold water and tropical. The other animals looked happy and healthy and there was a few to choose from I would reccommend this place to any pet keeper
We attended the store a few weeks ago and bought a fish to add to our fish tank. No questions about the type of living environment we have for the fish was asked.. just passed to us willingly. We got the fish home and after introducing it to our (3 year successful) tank it began to look sorry for itself. The next morning it was dead. I returned it to the store the same day, got an apology and a replacement fish, however while I was waiting I saw another 3 fish in the store dead. I took the replacement to hope I could give it a better life. After another day I found red markings on the gills... After advice from a friend who studied marine biology, he advised that this was ammonia poisoning and advised how to treat it. Unfortunately again the fish did not survive, a complaint has been sent. After reading numerous reviews that show the same lack of care for the animals I found a petition that others have created and over 1,500 have signed to take action against the store. DO NOT BUY ANY LIVING ANIMALS FROM THIS STORE!
Bit of a dive to be honest. The animals don't look right healthy. I would recommend pets at home. It's lovely in there
