Came here to buy hiking clothing. Saw the offer of 'beating any online price by 10%'.Arrived at the till at 1:45pm to a clueless staff member who barely spoke to us. We waited patiently for over half an hour while he repeatedly quoted us prices nowhere near the correct price.10% off 18 is not 19.70!At 2:20 we left the store with nothing and no apology. 35 mins at the till.Complained to customer services who told us to go back to the store and try again. Will never return to this shop and unlikely to frequent their other stores. Clearly customers are not a priority with this brand!
Not sure why good reviews of the staff on here! Shocking service today. Buying walking shoes for my daughter, staff member working on the shoes dept didnt even bother to ask if we needed help even though they finished serving a customer and could quite clearly see we were looking for a pair of shoes. Staff member at the till argumentative, saying I dont want to argue but not my fault, Dont argue with me then ! Supposed 20% discount off all shoes except sale items but dont mark anything in sale. The till says a 5 discount which isnt 20% , I cant have the 20% as they are on sale but not marked as on sale. The non argumentative staff member calls over tannoy for all to hear that a supervisor needs to come to the till as Im not happy. The supervisor states Well we cant mark all 350 items as on sale ! No apologies, no we will honour the price, sweet FA. Now we were not talking much money here but the attitude of the staff, the having to buy a discount card to supposedly save money on a pair of shoes that cost the discount card amount anyway is shocking! As I had no option I bought the shoes as needed for tomorrow morning but I will not be in there again in a rush!
Called in for some walking items and I won't be rushing back in a hurry ! More staff than customers and yet my queries were met with either a surly response or I was left feeling 'why are you asking questions ? Do you think we are here to help ?' Er.....yes, you are. Expected better customer services from Go Outdoors. Prices are competitive though.
Didn't have what I wanted even though it was shown on their website. Helpful staff though, not their fault.
Understaffed. Not just us but a queue of several waiting a long time at checkout. Staff were apologetic and helpful but I would have been happy to walk out. Product not available in store. Couldn't reserve and have ordered into store. Will try on-line.
