I have visited this bakery on quite a few occaisions with no complaints, however I think they have some new staff who well at least one of them falls short on service. I asked for chicken salad & egg mayo, both on brown. I noticed the lady serving me had to throw some teacakes away, never thought anything of it. Had my egg mayo early on and by mid day was looking forward to the chicken salad. took a bite and just looked underneath to see lots of mould spots, I was feeling sick at this point. Took the sandwich back and the lady said sorry and what did I want to do, so I asked for a full refund for the two, but she said she could only refund the one I showed her because she used a separate batch for the first sandwich, I gave her a frown and took the single payment. Then went back in my mind what had happened and distinctly remember her throwing an opened packet away, then opening a fresh packet and throwing that one away, then starting on a new one for both my sandwiches, so felt aggrieved, I found their website and sent them an email stating my version of events and waited almost two months without an answer, so have decided to write this review, I feel they have had enough time to respond and failed.
